Director’s profile
Jorge Contreras Santiago graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National University of Mexico) as a lawyer. He attended graduate courses in different universities in the United States, such as San Francisco State University, US Law in San Diego, and Denton University in New Hampshire. He also attended courses in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. He has worked in banking, law firms and in the hotel industry. He founded and served as general director of Fundación BBVA Bancomer and as general director of Fundación Cultural Bancomer (Bancomer Cultural Foundation) and Voluntariado Bancomer (Bancomer Volunteers).
