¿What is the sale of “fulfillment”?

Most of the securities are redeemed; nevertheless, there are a minimum number of them that are not redeemed.

To recover the loan plus the interest, the securities are for sale in the Institution’s shops. This is the origin of the sales of “fulfillment” which is the last stage of the pawn process.

When the item has already been sold, the institution keeps the principal plus the interest and gives back the remainder to the debtor. This remainder is called “demasía” in Spanish
